The range of products offered by EP Resources in the Czech Republic also includes bulk briquettes. These are available in coal depots and are mainly intended for customers who have suitable equipment, high consumption and storage options.
Like biomass, we now transport bulk briquettes to our customers by rail. Transport is provided by our sister company EP Intermodal. Every month we dispatch 2 intermodal trains with containers from our supplier in Germany. Such a train has a capacity of almost 1,100 tonnes, each of the containers about 25 tonnes. From several transshipment points in the Czech Republic, the goods then go to our customers on trucks.
By shifting the transport of bulk briquettes from road to rail, we offer our customers a more efficient and environmentally friendly solution as part of our sustainable business.
